Work Environment

This full-time Physical Therapist position operates in an onsite, collaborative environment alongside a well-established team consisting of two seasoned physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance while also meeting the needs of our patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to establish patient goals, outlining individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
• Manage a patient load while dedicating focused one-on-one sessions, with the aim of enhancing functional mobility and minimizing discomfort.
• Apply evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and functionality, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education.
• Develop and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs, ensuring alignment with each patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Encourage patients throughout their therapeutic journey to maintain motivation, enhance self-efficacy, and instill healthy lifestyle habits.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, ensuring effective communication and comprehensive care across our treatment teams.
• Utilize EMR software (e.g., WebPT) to document patient interactions and treatment outcomes, ensuring accurate and timely data management.
• Review and evaluate treatment effects, making adjustments as necessary to maximize patient recovery potential.
• Perform regular progress monitoring while maintaining open channels of communication with patients and their families regarding treatment milestones.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions who are covered by private medical insurance. This diverse patient demographic includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Your efforts as a Physical Therapist will directly contribute to their recovery and rehabilitation, enabling them to return to their daily activities with renewed confidence.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, with no prior disciplinary actions against it.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to create effective therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient documentation and records management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster trusting relationships with patients, motivating them towards recovery.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation techniques and the latest trends in orthopedic therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

Benchmark Orthopedic Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
