We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Fairview East Healthcare and Behavioral Center. Work Environment

Located in sunny San Diego, CA, our outpatient office provides a vibrant workplace setting where collaboration and communication thrive. As part of our team, you will work alongside two dedicated Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering quality care. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced lifestyle while serving our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and needs, crafting individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour, enabling meaningful interactions and impactful treatments.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities, with an emphasis on cost-effective interventions that facilitate patient recovery.
• Encourage active participation from patients by motivating them throughout their treatments to optimize their functional abilities.
• Implement and document treatment plans thoroughly, ensuring all care provided is recorded accurately for continuity and compliance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to develop cohesive strategies for patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to meet changing needs.
• Document and assess the effectiveness of treatments, maintaining open channels of communication with patients about their progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our facility, you will primarily work with patients who have private medical insurance, focusing on orthopedic needs. This includes a diverse demographic of individuals ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults seeking rehabilitation after surgeries. Your role is critical in fostering an environment where patients feel empowered to take charge of their health.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record with no past board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Expertise in developing specific exercise regimens tailored to various patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.
