SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Chula Vista, California. Located in Chula Vista, CA, SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art, 5000 square foot facility specializing in orthopedic outpatient care. Our practice prides itself on delivering high-quality physical therapy services primarily to patients with private medical insurance. Work Environment

This position is fully onsite at our outpatient office, which is designed to promote an uplifting and healing environment for both patients and staff. You will collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to providing premier patient-centered care. The work schedule spans Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a consistent routine that allows for both professional focus and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs to establish personalized treatment goals.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that utilize a range of therapeutic modalities.
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring efficient and effective treatment delivery.
• Utilize your expertise in manual therapy techniques and develop customized exercise regimens tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes diligently to ensure continuity of care and adherence to organizational policies.
• Assess treatment effectiveness regularly and adjust interventions as needed to promote optimal patient movement and function.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering a supportive environment that encourages their commitment to recovery.
• Promote a holistic approach to health and wellness by educating patients on the importance of lifestyle choices that strengthen flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At SpringLeaf, we predominantly serve a diverse patient population with a focus on orthopedic conditions. Patients may come to us post-surgery, following injury, or dealing with chronic pain. The aim is always to reduce reliance on medications and minimize surgical interventions by fostering natural healing and enhancing quality of life through tailored, proactive physical therapy protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean record, free from disciplinary actions affecting your professional licensure.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of patient care workflows.
• Experience developing and conducting individualized exercise regimens and wellness programs.

Compensation and Benefits
