Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. The work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured yet flexible setting to manage your patient load effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to establish individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Deliver personalized care aligned with clients' specific rehabilitation goals and medical histories.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic care to apply evidence-based interventions that promote optimal recovery.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, dedicating ample time to each patient, thereby fostering trust and rapport.
• Utilize advanced treatment techniques and manual therapy modalities to enhance clients' motion and mobility.
• Develop and oversee customized fitness and wellness programs appropriate for various patient demographics.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapeutic journey, focusing on building their confidence and independence.
• Advocate for non-pharmaceutical approaches to pain management, outlining the benefits of rehabilitation over surgical interventions.
• Stay updated on the latest physical therapy innovations and methodologies to apply the most effective treatment protocols.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse clientele ranges from sports enthusiasts looking to enhance performance to elderly patients focused on maintaining mobility and independence. This role requires sensitivity to the individual needs of each patient and a commitment to fostering a supportive healing environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• A current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• No history of sanctions, complaints, or board proceedings against your professional license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques.
• Strong ability to develop and implement effective individualized exercise and rehab programs.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation and record keeping.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy.
• Experience in developing fitness programs tailored to different demographics is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices is a plus, given the evolving nature of patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
