Peak Performance Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Chula Vista, California. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional outpatient services at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively to enhance patients' mobility, improve their quality of life, and guide them through their recovery journeys.

Work Environment

You will find yourself in a supportive and dynamic work environment consisting of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our Rehabilitation Center fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing to enhance the overall patient experience. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' orthopedic issues and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans to restore full function and mobility.
• Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring that each treatment session is tailored to individual needs and goals.
• Utilize various treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, to facilitate effective recovery.
• Engage patients in discussions about their rehabilitation journey, encouraging active participation and motivation throughout their recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Document all patient care activities, treatment interventions, and progress in our electronic medical records system (WebPT) to maintain accurate healthcare records.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve optimal patient results.
• Develop and implement fitness and wellness programs designed specifically for each patient, enhancing overall strength, flexibility, coordination, and quality of life.
• Seek to reduce patients' reliance on medication and surgical interventions by focusing on conservative management strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our typical patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We work with patients of all ages, empowering them to regain their full functional abilities by focusing on their unique rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your physical therapy license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy and developing customized exercise protocols is essential.
• Proficiency in EMR software, particularly WebPT, is beneficial for efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• Success in implementing patient-centered treatment strategies that achieve desired recovery goals.
• A proactive approach to professional development and knowledge of the latest rehabilitation techniques and trends.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
