Details Work in a 24-hour Emergency Department providing urgent care for severe injuries and illness Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts 36 hours per week across 3 days per week Requirements Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation required ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred Additional Information Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document in accordance with scope of practice and hospital policy Develop and prioritize patient care plans in collaboration with the inter-professional team Implement patient care therapies and procedures with clinical autonomy within scope of practice Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and discharge planning Delegate and oversee tasks performed by other care team members Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures Facilitate timely discharge processes in coordination with Case Management First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-750327.
