Details Work in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) monitoring patients recovering from surgical or anesthesia procedures Night shift schedule, Mon-Wed 7p-7a 36 hours per week over 3 shifts of 12 hours each Requirements Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required BLS certification required ACLS certification required Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation required ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred No prior nursing experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred Additional Information Provide direct patient care during the immediate post-anesthesia recovery period, monitoring for complications and ensuring patient safety Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care in accordance with scope of practice and hospital policy Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with case management and interdisciplinary team members Delegate and oversee care tasks performed by other team members Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures American Traveler Job ID P-750648.
