About the Position

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Required Certifications: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, BLS Must-Have: * Siemens equipment experience required Description: Must have ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification in hand to apply. This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts, specifically Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. There is no weekend or call requirement. Candidates may be scheduled for one holiday if needed. First-time applicants are accepted. No weekend work is required. On-call duties are not required. Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs. Local candidates are not accepted; home addresses must be at least 50 miles from the facility. No more than seven days of time off can be requested. Special requirements include: * Siemens equipment experience * BLS certification * ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification * IV starts and PACS experience preferred * Experience with Outpatient/Inpatient care, Emergency Room, Level 1 Trauma, Teaching hospitals, community hospitals, NICU, and Adult ICU preferred Preferred skills include experience in: * Abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging * CINE imaging, diffusion, and gradient echo imaging * Image post-processing, maximum intensity projection, multiplanar reconstruction * Perfusion and peripheral magnetic resonance applications * Spectroscopy and spin echo images * T-1 and T-2 weighted images Applicants should be proficient in two out of the following three software types: * Siemens Espree * Siemens Trio or Aera * Siemens Skyra, Sola, or Vida The facility type is a short-term acute care teaching facility with 1259 staffed beds. Candidates will be expected to comply with all facility policies and procedures. Travelers should be aware that all requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission. No new requests for time off can be made after submission. Compliance deadlines will be enforced, and testing requirements will be communicated during the hiring process. All certifications must be maintained according to facility standards.
