DIVISION SALES MANAGER

Position Summary

The Division Sales Manager owns sales performance across a division of 7 or more OpCos within Columbia Home Services. You run ride-alongs, lead live coaching, run sales meetings, and roll out INFORM, our Customer Engagement Framework, across every branch in your division.

This is a field management role. Most of your week is spent in trucks, driving revenue and margin results directly with technicians, CSRs, and Comfort Advisors. You report to the VP of Operations and work a dotted line with your Division President to align priorities on the ground.

Travel:  Up to 80% (multi-state OpCo visits within division)

Key Responsibilities

Field Coaching & Sales Execution

• Run ride-alongs with technicians and shadow Comfort Advisors across every OpCo in the division
• Run live sales meetings and pre-shift huddles at the branch level, coaching in real time instead of debriefing later
• Own revenue and margin attainment across the division and drive corrective action when branches underperform
• Partner with the Division President and OpCo General Managers to align sales priorities with local realities

INFORM Rollout & Systems Adoption

• Lead INFORM rollout and adoption across all OpCos, including field training and go-live support
• Confirm INFORM adoption through field visits and coaching checklists, and flag gaps for OpCo leadership to close
• Serve as the first point of escalation for INFORM issues in the field

Training & Content Execution

• Deliver and reinforce sales training curriculum in the field. The VP of Operations owns curriculum design and content strategy; you own field delivery and localization
• Create supporting content, such as call scripts, one-pagers, and coaching aids, to reinforce standards between curriculum releases
• Certify branch teams against current playbooks and confirm GMs reinforce standards between visits

Performance Accountability

• Track and report on revenue, margin, and adoption metrics by OpCo on a set cadence
• Build repeatable accountability rhythms with GMs that hold up between visits
• Push back where OpCos are leaving revenue or margin on the table

Performance Metrics

• Division-level revenue attainment against target
• Division-level margin attainment against target
• INFORM adoption by OpCo, confirmed through ride-alongs and coaching checklists
• CSR booking rate and technician average ticket value by OpCo
• Membership / maintenance agreement attach rate

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales management experience in home services, with HVAC required; must understand the trade, the sales cycle, and how technicians work
• Plumbing or electrical trade exposure preferred, not required
• Demonstrated results driving revenue through field coaching and direct sales leadership, not just program administration
• Comfortable running a sales meeting at 7am and executing a ride-along by 9am, five days a week
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time across multiple U.S. states; this is a firm requirement
• ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a PE-backed or multi-location home services platform
• Experience rolling out a new CRM, FSM, or sales system across multiple branches
• Track record managing performance across a multi-site territory, not a single location

Compensation

• Base salary: $120,000 to $140,000, depending on experience
• Annual performance bonus: up to 30% of base salary, tied to division revenue and margin attainment
