Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial patient consultations, taking thorough medical histories and evaluating presenting symptoms to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Assist in the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans, which may include prescribing medications and recommending lifestyle interventions based on best practices.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including but not limited to suturing, wound care management, and joint injections, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, ensuring continuity in treatment and proactive patient management.
• Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups, educating patients on care instructions and monitoring recovery progress.
• Participate actively in daily rounds and case discussions to contribute insights and adjust treatment plans in response to patient condition dynamics.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, outcomes, and care modifications in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Foster patient education initiatives, ensuring patients and their families understand preventive care strategies, medication adherence, and treatment expectations.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program is required.

Compensation and Benefits
