About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to take on the pivotal role of strategic leader for all revenue-generating functions. The CRO will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive revenue growth strategy, with a focus on expanding the company's offerings in mainframe-as-a-service, managed hosting, colocation, disaster recovery, and legacy system support services. This executive will be responsible for driving market positioning, establishing data-driven forecasting models, and leading high-performing sales, marketing, and customer success teams. Deep expertise in mainframe environments, modernization initiatives, and experience in scaling recurring-revenue technology or managed-services businesses are essential for this role. Applicants for the CRO position at the company must have a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience in revenue-generating roles, with a mandatory requirement for direct experience in mainframe technologies and services. The role demands a proven track record in selling to highly regulated or mission-critical industries, as well as a deep understanding of legacy system maintenance, modernization paths, and hybrid cloud integration. The successful candidate will be expected to expand customer relationships across key industries and champion a customer-centric approach. Operational alignment and execution, including partnering with engineering, operations, and product teams, are also key aspects of the role. The CRO will be instrumental in leading pricing strategy, contract structuring, and recurring-revenue optimization, and will support transition and migration projects for clients moving to managed mainframe platforms.
