What You'll Do

• Deliver expert nursing care for adult oncology patients, including those with solid tumors, orthopedic, and thoracic cancers
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs using GE telemetry systems
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and other specialized treatments
• Manage invasive devices such as central lines, PICC lines, and drains
• Respond to acute patient needs, including rapid response and code situations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure infection control, fall prevention, and patient safety protocols are strictly followed

What You Need

• Required: Valid Ohio RN license, minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience, including at least 1 year in PCU, Basic Life Support (BCLS), ACLS, NIH certifications, strong knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, and care of invasive devices
• Preferred: Experience in chemotherapy administration and monitoring, skills in wound care, arterial line management, and non-invasive airway management, previous travel nursing experience

About the Assignment This assignment is located at a high-acuity Oncology Telemetry unit in Columbus, Ohio, caring for adult and rare pediatric patients with complex diagnoses such as solid tumors and thoracic cancers.
