Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of experience and strong critical care/ventilator skills for a 13-week day shift travel assignment in Colorado.
Details
- 12-hour day shifts
- Rotating weekend coverage required
- No call rotation
- Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy department
- Patient population spans all ages and all acuity levels
- Strong critical care and ventilator management involved in daily practice
- Neonatal and pediatric cases are part of the caseload
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
- RRT credential required; CRT candidates will not be considered
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT) in good standing required; license required if applicable
- Graduation from an approved Respiratory Therapy program as required for licensure
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications — all required
- Neonatal and pediatric experience required
- Excellent critical care and ventilator skills required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients across all ages and acuity levels
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
- Colorado CAPS background check is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should apply promptly
- Facility-owned, fully furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments are available for rent nearby — contact your recruiter for details
- No pets permitted in facility housing
