Business Development Manager

TradeCorp – Orlando, FL
Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year + Commission
Full-Time | Field Sales

TradeCorp is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to grow our presence in the Orlando market. This is a B2B field sales position focused on developing relationships with construction contractors, industrial companies, and other businesses that need skilled trades and workforce solutions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable prospecting, making cold calls, visiting businesses and jobsites, networking with decision-makers, and managing the sales process from initial contact through closing and ongoing account management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities throughout the Orlando market
• Prospect for new clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, jobsite visits, and in-person meetings
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, construction companies, and industrial businesses
• Meet with business owners, hiring managers, project managers, and other decision-makers
• Present TradeCorp's staffing and workforce solutions to prospective clients
• Conduct regular client and jobsite visits
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements
• Manage the sales process from prospecting through closing
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
• Work closely with recruiting and operations teams to ensure client staffing needs are fulfilled
• Track sales activity, opportunities, and customer information in CRM systems
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B sales, outside sales, business development, staffing sales, or related experience preferred
• Experience selling to construction, skilled trades, industrial, or commercial businesses is a plus
• Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills
• Comfortable conducting face-to-face meetings and making field visits
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage a territory independently
• Ability to build relationships with business owners and hiring decision-makers
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work in a field-based sales environment
