TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and CPI preferred Must-Have: IV starts Patient monitoring Medication administration Patient education EPIC experience Description: The role involves providing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting. Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 5 patients. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes. General nursing skills, including medication administration, are essential. Nurses will educate patients regarding their health conditions and discharge plans. Experience with IV starts is required. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including therapy and social services, is expected. Nurses are required to float to different units within the organization as needed. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment and high patient acuity. Knowledge of infection prevention and safe nursing practices is imperative. Nurses must be able to provide care for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
