Contract | Mid Shift (2:30 PM – 3:00 AM) | Onsite | Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting serving newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Manage common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Float to other units as required
• Function within a 64-bed department encompassing triage, acute care, super track, trauma, clinical decision, and psychiatric areas
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities when needed

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse license (verified and in good standing)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience, including some pediatric experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience or demonstrated charge capability
• Experience with high-acuity trauma and cardiac emergency presentations
• Familiarity with psychiatric emergency patient care
