Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse post-surgical conditions.
• Monitor patient vital signs, assess symptoms, and document care plans accurately.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes for patient treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, including documentation and medication administration standards.
• Float between units as required, adapting to different patient needs and departmental priorities.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY RN license with verification; submit all active licenses upon application.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent MS nursing experience, including post-surgical care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
• Possess current AHA BLS certification.
• Have a valid driver's license with an address matching demographics; local candidates preferred.
• Show documentation of travel experience in prior roles.
