Clinical Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled, and patient-focused Clinical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work with youth patients with special needs, such as autism, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. You will operate in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial and psychological assessments and evaluations to determine diagnosis and plan of care.
• Developing, implementing, and continually adjusting individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Monitoring client progress and effectively implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and strictly confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and referring clients to outside community resources when appropriate.
• Appropriately utilizing established resources to assist in completing case management duties independently.
• Documenting treatment provided to patients in their medical record based on established case management guidelines.
• Completing all reports for suspected abuse as legally mandated and consistently informing supervisor.
• Providing individual patient and family therapy and crisis intervention.
• Communicating with family members and caretakers regarding the needs of the patient and anticipated plans.
• Creating appropriate discharge plans as needed for the patient's discharge.
