RN — Critical Care

Schedule - Shift Ratios: 2:1 patient ratio days/nights/weekends - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Holiday Coverage: Must commit to working 3 of these 5 — Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

Assignment Details - Orientation: 40 hours - Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off staff once per two-week pay period

Requirements - Minimum 2 years RN experience - Trauma Level II experience required - Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS - Key Clinical Skills: Ventilator management, high-flow nasal cannula, suctioning, trach care - Titration of vasoactive/cardiac drips; dysrhythmia recognition - Arterial line and central/PICC line management; ABG interpretation - Post-op cardiac and neurosurgical care; chest tube management - Familiarity with CRRT, IABP, Impella, EVD; blood product administration - Procedural sedation monitoring, starting/maintaining IVs

Roles & Responsibilities - Provide critical nursing care to patients with cardiac, neuro, and trauma-related issues. - Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions while implementing care plans. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. - Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders and nursing protocols. - Maintain and manage various medical devices and equipment associated with critical care.
