Role Description The Bookkeeper role at TRUE Attachments is a full-time, on-site position based in Springfield, MO. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions, and recording journal entries in the company’s accounting system. Typical tasks include reconciling bank and credit accounts, supporting preparation of financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and monitoring cash flow. The Bookkeeper will also assist with month-end and year-end close activities, generate routine financial reports for management, and coordinate with external accountants or auditors as needed. This position works closely with operations and sales teams to ensure timely, accurate financial information that supports decision‑making and business growth. Qualifications Strong bookkeeping skills, including experience with journal entries and day-to-day transaction recording. Ability to prepare, review, and interpret basic financial statements and reports. Proficiency with accounting software and related tools; comfort working with spreadsheets and financial data. Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including accruals and reconciliations. Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
