Pay: $12.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience) + Bonus Pay About Us Hector M. Rivera, EA is looking for a professional and experienced Tax Preparer to join our team. This position requires strong bookkeeping, accounting, and tax preparation skills. As a Tax Preparer , you'll be responsible for preparing accurate and timely tax returns while providing a positive and educational experience for our clients.
- Prepare federal and state individual tax returns (1040s)
- Review tax documents, identify deductions and credits
- Educate clients on tax strategies and planning
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with tax laws
- Provide exceptional client service with a personal touch
- Prior experience preparing tax returns (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
