As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct screening activities, and support access management while providing outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will help promote a secure environment through teamwork, professionalism, and integrity, making a meaningful impact each day in a fast-moving setting.

Pay Rate: $17.39 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the facility in accordance with post orders and documented screening requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or shipping-related documentation, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing loading, staging, and shipping areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
