Principal accountabilities:

• Supporting maintenance activities by managing an organized storeroom and verifying quantity and quality of equipment, tools, and parts
• Receiving, logging, controlling, and auditing inventory to ensure that equipment, tools, and parts are readily available
• Pursuing continuous improvement of storeroom processes
• SAP maintenance subject matter expert to support maintenance activities
• Assembling and distributing job kits as directed
• Interacting regularly with peers, management, and contractors/vendors to promote a teamwork focused and safe environment
• Comprehending schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals
• Operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lift, etc
• Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
• Assisting with contractor safety/vendor/accounts payable
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have strong organizational skills
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and follow up skills
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, emergency or planned routine maintenance, or different shifts with advance notice
• A minimum of one year of SAP experience
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a plant environment
• Basic computer experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating a forklift and/or similar equipment
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
• Experience with maintenance job kitting
• Experience in preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, and trouble shooting in a production environment
• Able to read and interpret schematics (electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical) and technical documents (safety, operating, troubleshooting and maintenance manuals) to determine methods and sequence of assembly
• Knowledge of environmental compliance procedures, practices and regulations
