Development Director The Development Director is responsible for spearheading a development plan and structure to generate new revenue and steward our current supporters to continue the mission and increase the sustainability of the Stark County Hunger Task Force.This position works directly with the Executive Director on achieving fundraising goals. Key Duties Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to sustain the organization’s mission to feed the hungry in Stark County which includes: a case for support. annual fund grants major/capital gifts special fundraising events planned/endowment gifts Build a major gift program that manages and engages our current major gift donors and conducts prospect research, donor cultivation, and solicitations Develop and execute an annual giving and planned giving program to include personalized solicitations (face-to-face, phone and appeal letters or mail solicitations) Responsible for the planning and strategy for underwriting and corporate giving/partnership strategy as it relates to our annual events and other donor cultivation Development Director Prepares reports and statistical analysis with the team for meetings and other constituencies, covering donor activity and keeps track of annual budget performance on a monthly basis Assist with strategy and donor cultivation for successful implementation of the Hunger at Home Annual Campaign Support broader development activities to assist the staff, board and volunteers to achieve fundraising goals Work with staff to maintain and improve web pages and communications that support online giving Utilize CRM software to achieve fundraising goals and ensure accurate donor records; the staff responsible for data entry and gift processing Responsible for the development, writing and reporting of all grants in collaboration with the Executive Director Must be accessible for occasional weekend, after-hours events and donor cultivation Point person for the annual United Way campaign Other duties as assigned Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-manager and team builder Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, shows concern for others and community, self-confident and good listening ability Constituent Relationship Management software Microsoft Office skills Innovative Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree and 3 plus years professional fundraising experience Job Type Full-time Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote (after training) #J-18808-Ljbffr Stark County Hunger Task Force
