Job Location: Chattanooga, TN Summary As a Lead Systems Technician , you will be responsible for the servicing and/or installation of commercial integrated systems including burglar and fire alarms, access control, and video. Possess strong technical aptitude and effective interpersonal skills. What You’ll Do Complete system servicing and/or installations of various types of integrated systems including integrated burglar, card access, video, and fire alarm systems. Troubleshoot integrated systems in high-end residential and commercial applications. Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of the software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by the branch. Employ logic and experience to work through system and integrated system issues. Assist in design and deployment of projects in concert with local and state building codes and communicate effectively with AHJs. Interact and communicate at all levels of the organization and with external customers. Share knowledge, ideas, and solutions. Train and Mentor Technicians Review work of entry-level through level 2 technicians on shared job sites and provide training to correct any errors. Responsible for the work done by all technicians on his/her jobs. What You’ll Need Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of fire detection and signaling systems experience (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV and access control). 5+ years industry experience. Preferred. Certification/License Must possess a Valid Driver’s License. Fire Alarm License. Preferred. Fire Alarm experience required. ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent. Preferred. NICET Fire or Video Level 2. Preferred. Communication Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner to provide superior customer service. Technical Understands software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by their home branch.
