Senior Business Development & Marketing Coordinator

Job Title Senior Business Development & Marketing Coordinator Overview Williams & Connolly LLP is seeking a dynamic Senior Business Development & Marketing Coordinator who thrives in a confidential and fast‑paced environment. The role supports a range of Marketing & Business Development projects and works collaboratively with BD & marketing colleagues to ensure coordination, effective engagement with firm resources, and high‑quality execution of strategic projects across the department and the firm. Responsibilities Prepare marketing material, including pitches and proposals, and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and PowerPoint presentations. Prepare legal media submissions and respond to surveys and questionnaires. Update and maintain Proposal and Case Database and client contact data for marketing and business development efforts. Assist the Business Development & Marketing team with development, execution, and administration of marketing programs and projects. Proactively support assigned practice groups. Assist with alumni outreach initiatives, including preparation of alumni newsletter and maintaining alumni contact database. Research identified business development targets. Provide support for events, conference sponsorships, and client development receptions, including invitation list development and mailing, tracking RSVPs, organizing registrations, preparing nametags, materials, reserving necessary equipment and venues. Coordinate preparation of advertisements, invitations, and other collateral and promotional material. Proactively update biographies, firm, practice, case descriptions, and other business development and marketing content for the firm website and other initiatives. Assist with other special projects and events. Requirements The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in law firms or professional services, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and will be proactive and high‑energy. Candidates should conduct themselves with poise and professionalism, possess knowledge of professional service marketing principles, leadership skills, ability to work in a team environment, handle confidential information with discretion, make sound decisions, and possess strong analytical skills. Working hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required. After the introductory period, the candidate may work the department's approved hybrid schedule. Work is performed in a professional office environment and requires prolonged periods of computer use, repetitive keyboard and mouse movements, and ability to lift up to 25 lb. The position is non‑exempt. The anticipated hourly wage is $43.58‑$51.28, equivalent to $85,000‑$100,000 annually based on a 1,950‑hour work schedule.
