Shifts assigned based on organizational needs with flexibility between days and nights. Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday nights). Highlights: Progressive Care Unit environment serving adults and geriatric patient populations Day/night rotating schedule with flexibility to accommodate facility staffing needs 32 hours of orientation provided to support successful transition Epic charting system experience preferred Unit census of 34 patients with 44 total beds available Float opportunities within the organization to expand clinical experience Requirements: Active Ohio RN license or valid compact license required at time of submission Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience in progressive care/stepdown setting Current and consistent acute care experience within the last 12 months required BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid) Previous telemetry experience with strong cardiac monitoring skills Demonstrated competency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion and management Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Two professional references required: one from a manager/director or formal supervisor; charge nurse acceptable for second reference First-time travelers welcome (profiles subject to manager review) Willingness to float to different units within the organization as needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: This progressive care position offers registered nurses the chance to provide critical intermediate-level care to a diverse patient population while developing versatile clinical skills across multiple units.
