Company Description Midway Heights County Water District is a local public utility organization based at 16733 Placer Hills Road in Meadow Vista, California. Role Description The Office Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Meadow Vista, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role oversees day-to-day office administration, including managing records, organizing files, processing mail, and maintaining office supplies and equipment. The Office Manager handles customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person, assists with billing and account questions, and coordinates communications with district staff and board members. Responsibilities also include basic bookkeeping, processing accounts payable and receivable. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with community members and colleagues. Experience in Administrative Assistance and Office Administration, including organizing records, managing schedules, and supporting day-to-day office workflows. Familiarity with Office Equipment and basic troubleshooting for printers, copiers, telephones, and related office tools. Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and comfort learning new systems related to billing or recordkeeping. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision. Prior experience in a utility, municipal, or small business office environment is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or training in business, administration, or related fields is a plus.
