Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical first assist duties across assigned operative cases
• Support surgical teams in Orthopedic, Total Joints, and Arthroscopic procedures
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and maintenance of the sterile field throughout surgical procedures
• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide direct intraoperative assistance as a qualified first assist

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist First Assist (ST FA) experience required
• Experience with Orthopedics, Total Joints, and Scopes required
• State of Georgia requires education verification or National Certification
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume surgical environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of orthopedic surgical instrumentation and implants
