Litigation Associate

Job Title: Remote Associate Attorney (Civil Litigation) About the Firm We are an elite, rapidly growing national litigation defense firm seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 3 to 6 years of civil litigation experience to join our expanding Southern California team. While our regional office is based in Irvine, CA, this position is 100% remote. Our firm represents high-profile manufacturers, healthcare providers, and corporations in high-stakes complex litigation, including class actions, product liability, medical device defense, and commercial disputes . We run a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating, and trial-heavy practice. Key Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload in complex civil litigation, product liability, and commercial defense. Draft complex pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses. Take and defend depositions of key witnesses, experts, and plaintiffs. Prepare for and argue high-stakes motions in both state and federal courts. Collaborate closely with partners and trial teams on trial strategy and preparation. Travel a few days per month for routine case matters, and travel nationwide as part of active trial teams. Experience: 3–6 years of dedicated civil litigation experience (defense experience preferred but not required). Skills: Proven track record of drafting pleadings, handling discovery, taking/defending depositions, and arguing motions. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-approved law school with strong academic credentials. Licensure: Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California . Travel: Willingness to travel nationally a few days per month and during trial cycles.
