Litigation Associate Attorney – Commercial & Business Litigation (Century City, Los Angeles)

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a highly regarded Am Law firm in its Century City (Los Angeles) office . This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level associate with 4–5 years of experience in commercial and business litigation who is looking to work with a collaborative team on sophisticated matters.

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal correspondence

• Respond to and manage written discovery

• Assist with and participate in depositions

• Support oral arguments and trial/arbitration preparation

• Manage case files and litigation strategy alongside senior attorneys

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient case progression and client service

• 4–5 years of commercial or business litigation experience at a law firm

• Strong experience drafting litigation documents and managing discovery

• Exposure to depositions, oral arguments, and trial or arbitration preparation

• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills

• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong case management abilities

• High level of academic achievement

• Active admission to the State Bar of California

The anticipated base salary range is $285,000 – $325,000 , depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
