About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of enterprise risk management and loss prevention programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for executive leadership in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory expectations. This role involves coordinating the company's overall risk management framework, including regulatory compliance, fraud risk management, legal risk, operational risk, vendor risk management, security risk management, internal controls, audit remediation, and regulatory examination preparedness. The CRO will also be tasked with leading the company's BSA/AML/OFAC compliance programs, providing oversight of fraud prevention and detection strategies, and ensuring the effectiveness of risk management procedures and standards. Applicants for the Chief Risk Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' related experience and a 4-year college degree or post-graduate degree. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in risk management, compliance, and regulatory affairs, particularly in the financial services sector. The CRO will be expected to have a deep understanding of operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks, and to be adept at developing and maintaining risk management-related vendor relationships. Essential skills include the ability to design and implement risk management programs, provide executive oversight of security and vendor risk management practices, and to prepare and present risk management reports to the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will also have experience in leading and developing a risk management department and be capable of providing ongoing training and communication related to risk management and compliance.
