Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Shipping And Receiving SupervisorJob Functions: Supervise the shipping and receiving processes to ensure they are efficient and accurate. Coordinate with external and internal customers to process and schedule deliveries and shipments. Manage inventory of products and supplies. Inspect shipment contents for damage, shortage, and overages. Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing shipments and create reports as needed. Ensure compliance with safety, security and regulatory standards. Train and coach shipping and receiving team members on proper procedures and expectations. Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure customer satisfaction. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures LLC.Position Requirements - Skills Required: Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while dealing with a high level of repetitiveness. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role. Able to stand, walk, bend and lift moderately heavy items. Able to work collaboratively with direct team members, or across departments, and work independently as needed. Able to effectively lead a team by providing direction, measuring quality of work, giving feedback and managing performance. Proficient in MS Office suite. Education and Experience Required: High School diploma or equivalent. 3-4 years' Experience in shipping and receiving required. 2 years' Minimum experience supervising/lead of department. 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
