Shipping and Receiving Clerk

We’re looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to joinour Wichita team and play an important role in keeping equipment, materials,and customer shipments moving efficiently. About the Role The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for theaccurate and timely receipt, processing, packaging, shipment, delivery, andtracking of equipment, materials, and supplies. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that supports Shipping& Receiving, Rentals, Deliveries, Laboratory Inventory, and Facilityoperations. You’ll work closely with technicians, customers, vendors, carriers,and internal teams to make sure equipment is handled properly and gets where itneeds to go - accurately and on time. What You'll Do Receive,inspect, document, and distribute incoming equipment, materials, supplies,rental returns, and customer equipment. Prepare,package, label, palletize, and crate equipment and materials for shipment. Coordinatefreight shipments, carrier pickups and deliveries, shipping quotes,purchase orders, and shipping documentation. Verifyshipment contents, quantities, weights, and paperwork for accuracy. Processand tag returned equipment for repair, calibration, warranty, or factoryreturn. Maintainaccurate shipping, receiving, work order, and inventory records. Tracklaboratory equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and shipping materials andhelp resolve inventory discrepancies. Monitorshipments and assist with damaged, missing, or delayed equipment,including customer communication and claims when needed. Supportdomestic and international shipping requirements and applicableregulations. Prioritizerush orders, warranty equipment, new accounts, and other time-sensitiveshipments. Operatea company vehicle for customer and supplier pickups and deliveries. Safelysecure and transport equipment, parts, materials, and supplies. Supportlaboratory and rental operations by keeping equipment, tools, parts, andsupplies organized and readily available. Assistwith general facility needs, including sweeping, cleaning, operating afloor scrubber, and salting exterior entrances as needed. Communicateprofessionally with customers, vendors, carriers, technicians, andinternal teams. Followcompany safety, quality, and operational procedures. Helpidentify opportunities to improve shipping, receiving, inventory, andoperational processes. Performother duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Required: Highschool diploma or equivalent. 2+years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or arelated hands-on environment. Experiencepreparing, packaging, labeling, and coordinating shipments. Experienceworking with freight carriers, shipping documentation, and deliveryschedules. Experiencehandling and tracking inventory. Strongattention to detail and accuracy. Basiccomputer skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes. Abilityto safely lift, move, and handle equipment and materials. Validdriver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle. Strongorganizational and communication skills. Abilityto manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs. Preferred: Associatedegree or additional technical education. Experiencewith domestic and international shipping. Experiencewith hazardous materials shipping or related regulatory requirements. Familiaritywith ITAR, AES, Schedule B, or other shipping regulations.
