Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLPA) for the 2026/27 school year. From August 19, 2026, through June 11, 2027, make a meaningful impact near Bear, DE, working with energetic and diverse learners. Whether you’re a seasoned SLP, a Clinical Fellow, or an SLPA, your skills will help shape communication outcomes in a school-centered environment that values teamwork and student growth.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid or pending Delaware SLP or SLPA licensure
- Experience or coursework in school-based or pediatric SLP/SLPA settings
- Healthcare SLP skills are a plus
- Comfort working onsite across K-12 grade levels
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Spanish competency is an asset, though not required
- Enthusiasm for flexible scheduling and adapting to new challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation and stay in compliance with state/school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and support individual programming
- Engage in ongoing professional development (CF supervision and SLPA supervision available)
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
