Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in grades 8-12 as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This position offers flexibility, with a schedule ranging from one to three days per week, beginning in late August and extending through mid-June—ideal for work-life balance. The caseload is directly influenced by student enrollment, ensuring meaningful and personalized impact.

Primary responsibilities include conducting thorough speech and language evaluations, reviewing 60-day IEPs, establishing benchmarks, and attending IEP meetings. Collaboration with other professionals and families will be central to your role, alongside maintaining detailed and compliant documentation. This environment values your expertise in both in-person and, for experienced teletherapists, remote service delivery.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware SLP license
  • DE certification required
  • ASHA CCC or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) background
  • Demonstrated school-based experience in evaluations and participation in IEP meetings
  • Proficient with pediatric and adolescent populations, including experience with grades 8-12
  • Comfortable with evaluation processes and progress monitoring
  • Teletherapy experience is highly valued
