We're looking for an experienced Travel Installer III to lead crews in the field and bring these projects to life. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, traveling, and taking pride in delivering a finished product, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As the onsite lead, you'll be responsible for executing complex installations safely, efficiently, and with the level of quality DI is known for.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead installation crews on projects across the country
- Install architectural elements, signage, graphics, and specialty components
- Read drawings and coordinate installation sequencing
- Work closely with Project Managers, customers, and other trades
- Solve field challenges and keep projects moving
- Maintain a safe job site and mentor other installers
- Ensure every project meets DI's standards for quality and craftsmanship
When you're not traveling, you'll work from our Overland Park shop helping prepare for upcoming projects.
What We're Looking For
- 57 years of installation experience in signage or specialty construction
- Previous crew lead or supervisory experience
- Ability to read construction and engineering drawings
- Low-voltage electrical experience
- Vinyl and graphics installation experience is a plus
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours when needed
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality
