Service WriterService writers are usually the first and last impression a customer has with a shop. Explore our career opportunities and discover how you can drive excellence with us.Service advisor compensation and benefits:Medical (including prescription plan)Dental & visionGroup life & AD&D insurance401(k) starts January or July following a year of employment1 week after one year of employment.2 weeks after three years of employment.4 personal days, accrue 1 every 3 months of employment.Service writer responsibilities:Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issuesIncrease customer satisfaction by building customer relationsMaintain the company's standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relationsMonitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently Increase profitability by maximizing sales & executing retail promotionsOversee technicians working on customers' vehicles, including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, job completion timesOversee and participate in quality controlParticipate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures as appropriateService writer requirements:High school diploma or equivalentValid commercial driver's license & clean driving recordAccredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction and quality controlAutomotive service advisor experienceAbility to read, write and speak English fluentlyAbility to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptionsMultitasking skillsProficient use of computers/business machinesDel Auto Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
