Recruiting and Event Manager

Workforce Brokers LLC | Greater Chicago Area| Full-Time The Recruiting & Event Manager owns the full staffing process for special events and high-volume assignments, from recruiting and scheduling through onsite execution and post-event reporting. This role fills event and hospitality positions such as servers, bartenders, cooks, dishwashers, concession workers, cashiers, ushers, captains, and supervisors. What You'll Do Recruit, screen, and maintain a ready talent pool for event and hospitality roles Build staffing plans for each event, including overfill and backup coverage Schedule and communicate with staff, confirming availability and replacing no-shows quickly Manage onsite check-in, staff performance, and any issues that come up during the event Serve as the main point of contact for clients before, during, and after each event Ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll for every event Maintain compliance across onboarding, background checks, certifications, and safety reporting What We're Looking For Experience in staffing, recruiting, or event/hospitality management Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple live events under tight timelines High sense of urgency, accountability, and attention to detail Willingness to work event hours, including evenings and weekends Success in This Role Is Measured By Event fill rate and overfill accuracy, quality and volume of hires, employee attendance and reliability, roster accuracy, client satisfaction and retention, payroll and timekeeping accuracy, recruiting response time, compliance results, and successful event execution without preventable staffing shortages.
