About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Operations for its Commercial Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for steering the commercial construction business units towards success, maintaining a competitive edge, and driving profitable growth. This role demands a leader who can cultivate a culture of collaboration and empowerment, ensuring that every team member is valued and motivated. The VP of Operations will be heavily focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and the strategic plan, and must be adept at problem-solving, driving consistency, and removing obstacles to ensure the organization is focused on learning and reinforcing success. Candidates for the VP of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, with 10-15 years' experience in a similar role within a commercial construction company with a revenue of $1B or more. The role requires a leader with strong communication, strategic and tactical thinking, and a customer-focused, process-oriented, and people-oriented approach. The VP of Operations will be expected to be a coach, encouraging employees and leaders to reach their maximum potential, and to be highly visible and approachable. Proficiency in technology and a proven track record of leading teams in the construction industry are essential.
