Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – Mobile Acute Care Citrus Heights, CA $175,000 - $183,000 Salary ⏰ Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Shifts Per Week We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our growing team in Citrus Heights, California. This unique opportunity allows providers to deliver hospital-level care directly in patients' homes while practicing with greater autonomy, building meaningful patient relationships, and improving healthcare accessibility. What You'll Do As a Mobile Acute Care Provider, you will: • Deliver comprehensive medical care in patients' homes • Conduct detailed assessments, examinations, and evaluations • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions • Develop individualized treatment plans • Perform procedures including: EKGs Catheterizations Wound care Suturing Splinting IV therapy and medication administration Order and interpret diagnostic testing Coordinate follow-up care and specialty referrals Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and disease management Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly Practice independently while delivering exceptional patient-centered care Schedule ✔ Full-time, 40-hour work week ✔ Four 10-hour shifts per week ✔ Every other weekend rotation ✔ Typical shift options: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM ✔ Localized patient routing to reduce travel time Qualifications Required: • Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license • National Board Certification • Current BLS Certification • Current ACLS Certification • DEA Registration or ability to obtain upon hire • Minimum 2 years of APP experience in: Emergency Medicine Urgent Care Internal Medicine Acute Care Hospital Medicine Experience performing EKGs, catheterizations, and other bedside procedures Valid driver's license Preferred: • Home-based care experience • Experience practicing autonomously • Strong acute-care procedural background • Comfort managing complex patient populations independently Compensation & Benefits ⭐ $175,000 - $183,000 Annual Salary ⭐ CME Support ⭐ Licensure & DEA Assistance ⭐ Comprehensive Benefits Package ⭐ Company-Provided Scrubs ⭐ Greater Autonomy Than Traditional Clinical Settings ⭐ Extended Patient Visit Times ⭐ Opportunity to Practice at the Top of Your License
