An established and growing pain management practice with multiple locations spanning New York City (NYC) and Queens, NY , is seeking a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP)/ Physician Assistant (PA). The practice offers comprehensive care for patients dealing with pain, musculoskeletal conditions, and venous disease, operating in a highly professional and supportive environment.

Opportunity


A full-time NP/PA job opening is immediately available, focusing on clinical care within the practice's specialties. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a fixed, full-time schedule: No call, no nights, or weekends . The provider will be responsible for managing patients from initial consultation through follow-up visits and has the opportunity to potentially perform trigger point and joint injections . Experience in Pain Management cases is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial consultations and follow-up visits for patients presenting with pain, musculoskeletal conditions, and venous disease.
• Take detailed patient histories, perform physical examinations, and order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Diagnose conditions, formulate treatment plans, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Have the opportunity to perform minor interventional procedures, such as trigger point and joint injections .
• Provide patient education on conditions, treatment options, and disease management.
• Collaborate with the pain management and venous disease physicians to ensure integrated and continuous patient care.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic health records (EHR).

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in New York (or eligibility for licensure).
• Certification from the appropriate national board (NCCPA for PA; AANP/ANCC for NP).
• Experience in Pain Management cases is required. Experience with musculoskeletal conditions or venous disease is a plus.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills.
• Ability to learn and potentially perform minor injection procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current BLS certification.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual Salary : Around $140,000 - $150,000 (W-2).
• Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday, with no call, nights, or weekends.
