Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance.**Pay Range**Minimum $95,098 Midpoint $126,006 Maximum $156,894*Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.***Experience**• Required: Minimum one year of clinical experience.**Education**• Required:Doctorate degree in Audiology or Prior to January 1, 2008, hold a master’s degree or equivalent in audiology from an accredited educational institution.• Preferred: Doctorate degree in Audiology.**Specialized Skills**• Required: Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others from all cultural linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds in an empathic and confidential manner; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure and deadlines; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision.• Preferred: Conversational fluency in sign language or a second language, particularly Spanish or Vietnamese.**Licensure**• Required: California Audiology license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.• Preferred: California Dispensing Audiology license.**Work Environments - Functional Demand:**Light - Moderate energy level Lift and carry 25-35 lbs. Push/pull 50-100 lbs.
