Help Shape Futures Through Communication in Sunny Southern California – Become Our Next Speech Language Pathologist
Have you ever considered how your next career opportunity could give voice to purpose in the vibrant landscapes of Southern California? In your role as a Speech Language Pathologist, your impact will extend beyond merely treating communication and swallowing disorders. You will unveil possibilities, nurture self-confidence, and forge deep connections — whether it's guiding a toddler as they utter their first words or empowering seniors to regain their sense of self-sufficiency.
This position offers a distinct chance to engage with individuals of all ages within a dynamic environment that harmoniously combines outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient care. Whether your passion lies in pediatric language enrichment, addressing adult neurogenic conditions, or facilitating cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation for the elderly, your expertise will be welcomed and celebrated here.
Description
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized assessments and careful observation.
- Design tailored treatment plans that accommodate short-term necessities alongside enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
- Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions targeting communication skills, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing efficacy.
- Work hand-in-hand with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to construct unified patient care strategies.
- Provide education for both patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinical encounters.
- Support occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the healing journey.
- Maintain precise and punctual documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational protocols.
- Engage with professional development endeavors and peer collaboration to stay updated with advancements in the sector.
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a reputable institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA certified yet.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within the first month of employment.
Skills
- Expertise in authoritative evidence-based treatment strategies for diverse age groups, along with a deep understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Capacity to modify therapy approaches to cater to a wide range of cultural and linguistic requirements.
- Robust clinical judgment and adept problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and documentation standards.
Benefits
- Competitive salary aligned with your experience level.
- Flexible work hours that promote work-life balance with a diverse case load.
- Options to specialize in pediatrics, adult neurological rehabilitation, or geriatric populations.
- Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday remuneration.
- Choose from a variety of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
- Support for continuing education and professional growth initiatives.
- A collaborative, team-oriented environment that values quality care and lifelong learning.

If you are ready to serve heartily and lead with expertise, we stand prepared to welcome you with open arms.
Let Us Connect Through Communication
If you perceive speech as a profound form of expression and therapy as a journey of trust and understanding – if you celebrate laughter alongside language – then this could be the pivotal chapter in your career narrative.
Join us in a community that encourages communication, connection, and the brave steps required to forge ahead. Apply today and lend your voice to our mission — helping others discover theirs.
