Create tailored treatment plans focusing on immediate and extended communication, cognitive, and swallowing objectives.

Implement individualized speech therapy interventions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing mechanics.

Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, medical doctors, caregivers, and families to establish unified care approaches.

Provide educational resources to patients and families to promote progress beyond clinical interactions.

Perform occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and services, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout patient treatment.

Uphold meticulous and timely documentation as mandated by state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements within the field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within the first month of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based therapies across all age ranges, demonstrated understanding of developmental and acquired communication difficulties.

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, connecting effectively with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Capability to customize therapy methods to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
