Practice Manager

Associate Practice Manager Oak Street Health Responsibilities Staff Management and Development – Hire, train, supervise, coach, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of 15+; cultivate a Great Place to Work and a culture of engagement; uphold the company’s Values and Service Behaviors. Clinic Operations – Ensure daily operations run smoothly and safely; maintain adequate staffing, including coverage for call‑offs and PTO; follow Standard Operating Procedures; deliver an Unmatched Patient Experience; resolve service issues promptly; drive results through standard meetings, huddles, and preventive care practices; support team metrics; lead in‑clinic operational initiatives; oversee scheduling; manage building‑related issues in partnership with Facilities; coordinate with alarm monitoring; use Oak Street Health proprietary software, reporting systems, and clinical EMR to monitor tasks and workflows. Leadership and Community Engagement – Partner with the Center Medical Director and Associate Outreach Manager; lead the center triad to make collaborative decisions that benefit patients and team and enhance center profitability. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required – 2+ years supervisory experience; flexibility for occasional evenings and variable hours; proficient PC skills; valid U.S. work authorization. Strongly Preferred – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; 5+ years supervisory experience within a clinical setting; Spanish fluency or other language used in community; proven ability to drive teams toward metric achievement; experience with Google Suite. Problem‑solving orientation with a focus on identifying process gaps and implementing practical solutions. Flexible, positive attitude and comfort with ambiguity. Weekly Hours 40 hours per week Time Type Full time Pay Range Typical pay range: $46,988.00 - $102,000.00. Actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Eligible for bonus, commission, and short‑term incentive programs.
