We specialize in energy solutions offering cutting-edge technologies to help our clients utilize clean, renewable energy for savings from the grid and backup power.Job SummaryWorking under a Master Electrician, as a Journeyman electrician, you will assist in all facets of installation of power generation equipment and products. Reading wire diagrams, tracing, wiring and troubleshooting problems Installing automatic transfer switches and standby generators.ResponsibilitiesPull wire, bend conduit, install and wire up electrical devicesTrace wiring and troubleshoot problemsAssist in load testing generator packagesAssist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products such as trenching, piping, mechanical components, civil assembly for setting power generation packagesRead wiring diagramsHave a clear understanding of AC/DC WIRING as it pertains to dutiesPerform proper installation of all electrical equipment required to complete fabrication of projects (i.e. brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels, etc.Be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipmentPromote good welfare among the company and its' divisionsPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must have working knowledge of the above titled position and how it related to the overall business and its' objectivesMust promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environmentGood people skills with ability to communicate well with othersHighly motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailQualificationsMust have previous electrical experience, some on the job training is availableHigh School Diploma or GEDAC and DC electrical experience is a plusWorking Conditions:Typical hours of operation, Monday – Friday, 7AM – 5PM.Weekend hours as necessary, some adjustments to starting and quitting time as workload requires.Physical demands include: Walking, standing, sitting at a desk, typing on keyboard, viewing and reading computer monitor, and using telephone. Lift up to 50 lbs. Use hands and arms to reach, touch, handle objects.
