Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN-Stepdown for a Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of relevant CV/vascular experience.

Details

• Work in a 30-bed cardiovascular stepdown unit
• Unit floats between critical care service lines
• Cares for patients requiring HFNC, BiPAP, and stable gtt management
• Manages post-op day 1 CABG/AVR/MVR patients and other CV and vascular surgical cases including AAA repair, lobectomy, and CEA
• Treats NSTEMI, STEMI, ACS, sepsis, GIB, post-DKA, respiratory failure, and tracheostomy patients
• Manages patients with pacemakers
• Shift runs from 06:45 to 19:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
• Cardiovascular and vascular unit experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required

• Provide direct patient care within a fast-paced cardiovascular stepdown environment
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• COVID vaccination is not required
