Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med Surg Telemetry position requiring 2+ years of experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• 29-bed Medical Surgical unit with cardiac and telemetry patient population
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic charting system
• Navy or maroon scrubs required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Current ACLS certification from AHA
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provides direct nursing care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans
• Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
