Project Manager - Audio Visual Integration Atlanta, GA, USA Responsibilities Act as the project owner responsible for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction throughout all phases. Lead project communications, scheduling, and task lists for technicians; manage deliverables from engineering, CAD, and programming. Complete systems integration projects on time, on budget, and with high customer satisfaction. Coordinate all activities associated with timely, accurate, and on‑budget project completion, engaging stakeholders and delegating responsibilities. Develop and maintain all related project schedules; monitor labor, equipment, and material budgets. Facilitate and direct design reviews to assure proper documentation in the field. Coordinate system programming, final checkout of systems, and provide punch‑list of remaining tasks after substantial completion. Contract with contractors and other trades when necessary. Coordinate training and turnover of projects to client, service department, and sales. Maintain communication with account executives, directors, installation technicians, subcontractors, and clients. Provide and/or direct technical and administrative support to project team members. Decision Making Authority Takes full ownership of the project as the single point of responsibility and accountability. Ensures schedule performance, quality of solutions delivered, and client satisfaction. Manages and reports on the project’s financials, ensuring budget performance, profitability, and timely billing. Communicates decision options to stakeholders and manages those decisions. Manages a complex array of decisions at every point of the project but is rarely the sole decision maker. Physical Working Environment The employee may be exposed to construction site conditions on a regular basis, requiring the use of PPE. The role may involve spending at least 40% of time on the feet, mobile around construction sites, occasional climbing ladders, using stairs, lifting or moving materials up to 20 pounds, using keyboards, test equipment, and controls for SI installation projects. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision. Outside of construction sites, normal office conditions and use of office equipment such as computers and peripherals apply. Travel Frequent travel by car and occasional airplane trips required. Employees must possess a valid driver’s license and will be reimbursed for mileage. Local travel to job sites (within a 2‑hour driving distance each way) accounts for 70–90% of travel; remote travel up to 30%; 10% remote travel may be required on a regular basis. Education & Certifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required and/or equivalent experience. PMP certification from the Project Management Institute desired. AVIXA CTS certification. Other relevant certifications may be required or preferred based on the technology focus of the position. Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of project management experience with familiarity with audio/video systems in commercial construction trades or office environment. Familiarity with audio/video systems installation and low‑voltage electrical projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory and people skills. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical, political, and people‑related problems. High level of written and verbal communication skills.
